Carrying on from the ethos of hate, my recent artwork often examines the roles of celebrity and sexuality and the interaction and manipulation between the two. Primarily working within collage and mixed media, wordplay is often incorporated to corrupt existing texts in an attempt to create humorous, tongue-in-cheek pieces. Frequently using mediums such as the free newspapers handed out on London streets as a starting point for my work, this method provides an opportunity to produce multiple works based around one image. Collecting numerous copies of the press from the garbage to create such works also serves as an antidote to our throwaway, trash culture which the current celebrity obsession embodies.

They were recently exhibited in conjunction with GT magazine at its show portal on the Second Life website. They were also included in the Misguided Souls group show at the Covent Garden Studios in 2007. On exhibit was the David Beckham Fantasy Football triptych, a mixed media collage that examines celebrity culture, sexuality and fantasy. It was sold to a private collector.
